Earlier he has served as Financial Advisor to Director General Naval Projects, Mumbai, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, New Delhi, and Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Mumbai.He has also spearheaded the fuel linkages services offered by PTC to various IPPs. He was also instrumental in formation of PTC India Financial Services (PFS) & Athena Energy Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (AEVPL) and is also on their board. |

Ltd. which advises Lightspeed Venture Partners, a leading global venture capital and growth equity firm with $2B under management. Mr. Somaia has fifteen years of operating, entrepreneurial and investment experience in the US and India and his background and interests encompass technology and technology-enabled businesses.
Previously, Mr. Somaia was Joint Managing Director of Twiga Fiberglass, a leading manufacturer of thermal and acoustic insulation solutions in India and a partner of Saint Gobain, one of the largest building materials companies worldwide. He was also a management consultant with Bain & Company and an investment banker with Salomon Brothers.
In addition to IEX, Mr. Somaia currently serves on the boards of U. P. Twiga Fiberglass, ItzCash Card, and Four Interactive.” |

Mr. Vishal holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta and is a Chartered Accountant. While earning his bachelors in Commerce from GS College, he was ranked one of the top 750 students in the country and is member of Mensa. He is a Managing director of Bessemer Venture Partners, Mumbai office. He has been closely involved with the firm’s investments in Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Net Ambit, Shriram EPC, Shriram City Union Finance, Sunil Hitech Engineers and Orient Green Power, among others. Prior to joining Bessemer in 2006, Vishal was a Senior Manager in the Treasurer’s office at Reliance Group, where he conducted strategic financial modeling and valuation analyses, and made recommendations to senior management for new business lines. Previously, Vishal worked as bond trader for SBI Mutual Funds, which he joined from DSL Software, a joint venture of HCL Tech and Deutsche Bank in India. While at DSL, Vishal served as an Executive Assistant to the CEO and was involved in making a number of acquisitions. In addition, he managed the establishment of a Business Process Outsourcing call center that has since grown to 500 full-time employees. Vishal has also been a nationally-ranked table tennis player. |

Mr. Rajeev Sharma, 51 years, is the CMD of REC and before joining REC he was Director (Projects) with Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC). As Director (Projects), PFC, he was responsible for all functions of Projects Division including technical appraisal of the projects financed by the Company. During his tenure as Executive Director in PFC since August, 2005, he was Director (in-charge) for development of Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Project and was responsible for implementation of Restructured Accelerated Power Development & Reforms Programme (‘R-APDRP’) in India. In addition, he also looked after the Southern States for projects appraisal and functions of HR and Administration of PFC. He holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University, Pantnagar, a Post Graduate Diploma (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and a Masters degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
