| Adani Enterprises: |
| Part of the Adani group of companies, Adani Enterprises is active in the power trading business across the country. It is implementing mega thermal power projects at various locations in India. It aims to enter into power transmission in a big way. |

Development Finance Company (IDFC): |
| A private sector enterprise formed by a consortium of public and private investors, IDFC is a specialised financial intermediary for infrastructure. It provides financial assistance to projects in power, roads, ports, and telecommunications. |

| Jindal Power
Limited: |
Jindal Power Limited (JPL), a subsidiary of Jindal Steel & Power Limited, has set up a coal-based 1000 MW (4x250 MW) O P Jindal Super Thermal Power Plant near Village Tamnar in Raigarh District in Chhattisgarh. This project, the first Mega Power Projects in the private sector, has already started generating 1000MW.
JPL has planned to add more power producing capacity and has aggressive blueprint to increase domestic power production to help in contributing towards achieving Government of India's goal of 'affordable power for all by 2012'. |
