The online trading platform is accessible to our Participants through feature-rich easy-to-use trader workstations (TWS), over a nationwide private network through MPLS leased lines, and the internet over secure Virtual Private Networks (VPN). The electronic platform is supported by our infrastructure and advanced technology, allowing fast trade execution, with uptimes exceeding 99.95% since inception, low latency, anonymity between counterparties, price transparency, prompt and reliable order routing, trade reporting, market data dissemination and market surveillance.
The trading platform, mission-critical applications, and supporting infrastructure are hosted in a state of the art Data Centre in New Delhi, and replicated at a Disaster Recovery site in Mumbai. Our network architecture is secured by zoning services; the Network Operations Centre (NOC) monitors our production systems and network activity, round the clock. We have procedures for Incident Response, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) that are routinely tested through drills.

The Exchange employs fault-tolerant servers, data mirroring of disks (RAID), database clustering, and data replication at the DR site. The network perimeter is protected by Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevision Systems (IPS) consisting of firewalls, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, secured and encrypted data transfer channels, Virtual Private Networks, active network monitoring, anti-virus software installed on all machines, and the likes.
The Information Security Systems follow best practices in the industry. The ISMS (Information Security Management System) processes and procedures are certified and compliant as per the ISO/IEC 27001: 2013, Environment Management is ISO/IEC 14001:2015 certified and Internal processes are certified with ISO/IEC 9001:2015 standards. The policies and procedures are periodically reviewed, tested and audited by an independent audit firm.
